Vital Kravtsov's Fate with the Vancouver Canucks is Now Confirmed

Vitali Kravtsov was drafted in the first round in the 2018 NHL entry draft by theNew York Rangers, now on the Vancouver Canucks he was placed on waivers and cleared them to be assigned to Abbotsford in the AHL, as Vancouver continues to work towards their final roster.
This was just one of several moves the Canucks have made as they aim to get down to 23 players.

It was announced yesterday on Canucks Army that Vitaly Kravtsov has cleared waivers and will report to Abbotsford.

The 25-year-old forward is coming off a great year in the KHL, scoring 27 goals and 58 points in 66 regular season games which contributed to Traktor Chelyabinsk reaching the Gagarin Cup Final, where they ended up losing in five games to the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
The Canucks tried to give him a second chance at the NHL but unfortunately, it will not be to start the season as the head office and Patrick Allvin placed him on waivers for the purpose of sending him down to the American Hockey League.
However it does not mean it is the end of the road for Kravstov, if he impresses at the AHL level like he did in the KHL, he can easily expect a call-up and live up to the expectations he originally when he was drafted.
