Bloodcurdling Scene In Toronto as NHL Official Leaves Game After Suffering Brutal Eye Injury

A scary scene has emerged in Toronto during game #7 between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers as NHL official Chris Rooney was forced to exit the game after suffering a brutal eye injury.
Game seven's in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoff's are always intense, filled with drama and emotion that even fans of other clubs are forced to tune in to see the outcome.
Unfortunately, a pretty scary scene erupted early in the 2nd period.
In the early parts of the game, an accidental play occurred where the stick of Florida Panthers defenseman
Niko Mikkola rode up in the corner, making hard contact with the eye of NHL referee Chris Rooney.
Referee Chris Rooney has left the game after taking a stick up high
Rooney Immediately fell to the ice in pain, covering his face as blood rushed on the ice.
Luckily he did not have to be taken off in a stretcher but was forced to leave the game with the help of the other officials.
