MUST SEE | Reaction pouring in from Tkachuk's series-clinching goal, including from Roberto Luongo
For the first time since 1996 and only the second time in franchise history, the Florida Panthers are off to the Stanley Cup Final where they'll face either the Vegas Golden Knights or Dallas Stars.
The Panthers and Hurricanes appeared to be heading to overtime during Wednesday's Game 4, but with just seconds remaining in the third period,
Matthew Tkachuk took the puck from the side of the net and carried it in front, putting it into the open side of
Frederik Andersen to give Florida the series win.
After the goal and the game, reaction poured in from througout the arena, including from Canucks legend Roberto Luongo, who cheered and raised his hands into the air as the puck went into the net.
As you can see in the video below, Panthers goaltender
Sergei Bobrovsky, who was one of the main reasons Florida has gotten this far, was very emotional after Tkachuk scored.
In the stands, Tkachuk's father and former NHLer Keith Tkachuk was ecstatic, raising his hands into the air and hugging those around him, while PGA Tour Golfer also celebrated in a private box surrounded by friends.
Tkachuk and the Panthers will now need to await the winner of the Vegas/Dallas series to see who they'll face, but like their own series against Carolina, the Western Conference Final can end in a sweep tonight if the Golden Knights win. Should the Golden Knights win tonight, the Stanley Cup Final will likely begin early next week.
