*STATUS CHANGE* - From trade deadline seller to playoff-hopeful
Before closing Thanksgiving's weekend with the game against the Sharks, that's now 2 wins in a row for the Canucks, 4 in their last 6 outings.
The five-man-unit and the team's goal scoring effiency have been making the difference in that sequence. One can still argue the Canucks will need to improve defensively, that's for sure.
Martin has stepped his game up most recently and took advantage of Demko's difficulties. Moving forward it'll be most intriguing to see how Bruce Boudreau deals with this. If Demko gets back to his last year self, Vancouver would arguably have one of the top goalie tandem in the league.
The team's trading strategy might be changing if we're looking at the standings, if you were hopeful for Bedard, that ship might be sailing.
