Trade Alert Winnipeg Jets To Acquire Forward From Nashville Predators

We've got breaking news out of Winnipeg, as Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman has revealed the Jets are acquiring forward Nino Niederreiter from the Nashville Predators.
Niederreiter will add some more offence to the Jets as they hope to have a deep playoff run. In 56 games this season, Niederreiter has 18 goals, and 10 assists.
In return, the Predators have received a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
The Jet also get some term with Niederreiter as he has one year remaining on his current contract beyond this season that pays him $4 million annually.
