WOW | Lane Pederson cross checks Bergeron in the head and gets sent to bed with one punch knock out later
The Canucks lost Luke Schenn's brother-in-law, Lane Pederson, to waivers earlier in the season to the Columbus Blue Jackets. It doesn't look like Pederson made a name for himself there since he's only played 15 games since being claimed.
Tonight the Jackets were playing the Big Bad B's, Lane Pederson caught Patrice Bergeron with a cross check to the head that led to a 2-minute penalty:
However, the Bruins didn't think it was a big enough punishment and Trent Frederic took care of Pederson. Frederic is known to be quite the agitator and clearly showed Pederson how the dance worked since he sent him down with a one-punch knockout. Here's the clip:
The latest report stated that Bergeron had not made his way back to the team's bench after the incidents. Pederson may need to answer a phone call regarding the shot he took a Bergeron's head.
