It started in September, it started last year in trying to get us to believe and kind of get the stink that was out of here.

The Canucks had missed the playoffs in three straight seasons but managed to clinch first place in the Pacific Division this season as several of their players had career years such as Hughes, JT Miller, and Brock Boeser. Tocchet finds himself nominated for the Jack Adams Trophy as the NHL's top coach.
Arturs Silovs secured his second consecutive win as the team moved one game closer to seeing their starting netminder Thatcher Demko return.
The Canucks will face the Oilers for Game 2 at Rogers Arena on Friday, before they will cross the BC border into Alberta for Games 3 and 4.
