In a press release, Sportsnet's Public Relations department shared that the Vancouver Canucks' broadcast crew will remain this season, with Dan Murphy as the host, John Shorthouse doing the play-by-play, Dave Tomlinson as the full-time colour commentator, while Ray Ferraro will stick around on a part-time basis like last year.
There was some worry among the fan base that Ray Ferraro was moving on when he was announced as an analyst for Los Angeles Kings broadcasts this season, but he confirmed he would be back, juggling three jobs this season including his main gig with ESPN & ABC.
"Alongside all of their national broadcasts, Sportsnet will be home to all of the Canucks' regional broadcasts on Sportsnet Pacific, with host Dan Murphy, play-by-play from John Shorthouse, and analysis from Dave Tomlinson and Ray Ferraro." Sportsnet said.

In addition to their confirmation of this year's crew, the network announced that 58 of Vancouver's 82 games this season will regional telecasts on Sportsnet Pacific, including October 28th's return of newly named New York Rangers captain J.T. Miller.
"The 58-game regional broadcast schedule includes big-ticket matchups like a visit from former Canuck J.T. Miller and the New York Rangers on Oct. 28, and Pacific Division rivalry games against the Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 26 and Calgary Flames on Nov. 23." Sportsnet said.

Meanwhile 20 of Vancouver's games will be shown nationally coast-to-coast on Sportsnet, and four of them will be shown on Amazon Prime Video, the first being on Canadian Thanksgiving (Monday, October 13th) as Pius Suter makes his return to Rogers Arena with the St. Louis Blues for an afternoon puck drop at 4:30 p.m. PT.
Vancouver's first game on television this year will be in the preseason - Friday, September 26th as they host the Seattle Kraken on Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet 360.
