The Vancouver Canucks have officially announced some changes to the team's hockey operations department on Thursday, with the season opener seven weeks away.

It's been a busy offseason both on and off the ice for the Vancouver Canucks, with the club making some big changes behind the bench following the departure of Rick Tocchet to the Philadelphia Flyers, who was replaced by Adam Foote after parts of three season as an Assistant Coach.
Foote got right to work trying to find new Assistant Coaches for the Canucks and ended up hiring three - Kevin Dean Brett McLean and Scott Young.
On Thursday afternoon, a little over two months after they rounded out their coaching staff for the 2025-26 campaign, the Canucks announced some more changes off the ice.

The Canucks also announced that Ian Beckenstein has been promoted to the role of Video Coach, replacing Dylan Crawford who was hired by the Philadelphia Flyers earlier this summer, and have also brought in Evan Mathias, formerly of the Ottawa Senators, as an Assistant Video Coach.
The final change announced by the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday was the promotion of Taylor Phillips to the role of Executive Assistant, Hockey Operations.
