Vancouver is coming off a 3-1 victory over the Calgary Flames in Abbotsford on Wednesday, thanks to a two-point night from top defensive prospect Tom Willander and on Friday, fans in attendance will get to see an NHL-heavy lineup featuring the team's biggest offseason addition, Evander Kane.

In a social media post on Friday morning, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 shared the team's projected lineup ahead of tonight's contest.
Elias Pettersson, who says he's out for revenge this season, will be on the top line alongside Brock Boeser and Jake DeBrusk, a trio which was intact for a good chunk of the 2024-25 season.
The second line tonight will see top prospect & 2025 first rounder Braeden Cootes, who has impressed the team's coaching staff thus far in camp, is at center, flanked by Evander Kane and 2022 first round pick Jonathan Lekkerimaki.
Vitali Kravtsov, Teddy Blueger and Kiefer Sherwood will make up the third line, while the fourth trio consists of Aatu Raty down the middle and Vilmer Alriksson & Danila Klimovich on the wing.
Vancouver's top defensive pairing last season will make their preseason debut this evening as well, as Quinn Hughes and Filip Hronek suit up, with Elias Pettersson & Tom Willander on the second pair and Kirill Kudryavtsev & Pierre-Olivier Joseph on the third.
In between the pipes tonight, it appears that Kevin Lankinen will get the start, but his backup has yet to be determined as both Nikita Tolopilo and Aku Koskenvuo skated this morning at Rogers Arena too.
