HOT: Big statement coming from Dreger regarding Bo Horvat
Darren Dreger finally made his statement regarding the Bo Horvat situation, according to his information, the Canucks are ready to part ways with their Captain.
He was clear on the subject and left no place for interpretation:
'' The Canucks now without question, without question, are motivated to trade Bo Horvat."
From his beliefs when he discussed the matter with Ray Ferraro, the teams that would like Bo Horvat would mainly see him as a rental. Meaning that the current Canucks captain would hit free agency on July 1st. Dreger's opened the door, that there may be a possibility for the captain to sign back with the team at this point.
It's something that's already happened in the past with, for example, Keith Tkachuk. In 2007, he was traded from the Blues to the Trashers as a rental and came back once he hit free agency the following month of July.
One thing that seems to be certain in Dreger's mind is that the Canucks' captain will most likely not finish the current season in Vancouver.
