Ethan Bear has been one of the positive acquisitions of the Canucks 2022-2023 campaign. He also gave a positive update on his future in Vancouver lately when he assured the fans he had no plan of leaving.
While the Canucks' season came to an end earlier the hoped, some players will be presented with the opportunity to represent their respective countries at the World Championship. Elias Pettersson has already confirmed his spot on Sweden's team and now Bear has also accepted the invitation sent his way.
It's Rick Dhaliwal that confirmed the information through his Twitter platform:
''Ethan Bear is going to the world hockey championships with Canada.''
This surely comes as great news for the defenseman, he'll have the opportunity to renew with Canada's red and white since he had already been a part of the U17 and U18 teams.
The 25-year-old defenseman played big minutes for the Canucks this year managing 16 points over 61 games and now he'll get the opportunity to prove his worth once more with Team Canada.
