MAJOR | Arshdeep Bains once again showing his domination: Absolute steal from the Canucks
The Canucks had a long-term project in mind when they inked the forward Arshdeep Bains straight out of the WHL. Coming off strong showings, Bains had shown lots of skills and promises and now in his second professional season, he isn't stopping.
CANUCKS REPRESENTATIVE AT THE ALL-STAR GAME SHOWS OFF
Already having one heck of a season and leading the Abbotsford Canucks in points, Bains was chosen to represent his teammates at the AHL All-Star Game. The forward delivered an outstanding performance scoring this beauty on a breakaway that wound up being the game winning goal:
After absolutely dominating the event, Bains was named the All-Star Game MVP and showed that he's ready for the next step:
He's there for a reason 🥹
With 2 goals and 3 assists, Arshdeep Bains is this year's AHL All-Star Challenge MVP!
Bains was already attracting attention last year with a stellar 37 points production in 66 games, but he's now taken it to a whole new level with a career high 40 points only 40 games into the season.
At this very moment, it seems pretty clear that the Canucks lineup is already strong on the wings. The way Bains has been going, he'll be forcing the Canucks hand rather sooner then later.
