MUST SEE: Ryan Whitney absolutely scorches the Canucks' ownership
Led by NHL alumnis Paul Bissonnette and Ryan Whitney, the Spittin Chiclets podcast has been renowned for their hot takes on many NHL subjects and now they've opened up on the Canucks' case and it ain't pretty.
The Canucks management has been causing lots of headlines over the last two weeks and has been highly criticized for their handling of the coaching change both Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonette were absolutely ruthless with the franchise's management. The sequence opens up with this statement from Bissonette:
Whitney went on and listed the signing of J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser over Bo Horvat as horrible mistakes, can't argue this one, if you're going to hand out money why isn't your captain a priority? Whitney keeps his rant going when he goes onto Bruce Boudreau's disrespectful firing and that is when things get truly interesting:
He went on to say that all you want when you're a part of a business is an employer who treats his people well, and from what Whitney's heard he treats everyone extremely poorly.
Looking back, Whitney agrees that when you look at what's been going on and the portrait that's been drawn up in Vancouver, you can't look at this failure and not blame the guy in charge of the whole operation.
