TRENDING | Video surfaces showing Kuzmenko's training for his new role next season
Vancouver Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko is training very hard for the 2023-24 season, which will be his second in the National Hockey League.
In a 30-second video posted to Instagram, Kuzmenko can be seen doing a Boxing exercise along with a partner as he looks to increase his strength for next season.
When the Canucks won the Kuzmenko sweepstakes last summer, no one knew what to expect as the Russian forward came over to North America. His rookie season in the NHL was better than anyone could have predicted.
In 81 games, the Yakutsk native had 74 points (39 goals, 35 assists), eight penalty minutes and was a plus-nine. His strong play earned him a two-year contract extension worth $5.5 million per season, along with some limited trade protection.
