WATCH | Michael Bunting gives Erik Cernak a cheap shot and a suspension is coming his way
The Maple Leafs and the Lightning are yet again meeting up in the playoffs 1st Round.
As always things have heated up quite fast in a tilt where the Lightning came on top with a 7-3 win.
Michael Bunting was caught throwing cheap shots yet again and made Erik Cernak his latest victim. After a draw, Bunting interferes with Cernak and threw an elbow straight to Cernak's head who went down to the ice straight away.
The puck was nowhere near Cernak or Bunting and the latter just threw and elbow right at the Lightning's defenseman head.
Michael Bunting is very well-known across the NHL for his intensity, but he may have gone over the limit with this one. He should be expecting a call from the NHL regarding this sequence.
