WJC: Team Canada player Joshua Roy warns the Czechs and it could haunt him
The 2023 World Junior Championship will come to an end when Canada hits the ice against the Czechs, the only team that was able to manage Connor Bedard and his troops. They handed Canada their only loss (5-2), to this day.
Joshua Roy, who's played unreal for Canada so far, still had the Czechs' behavior on his mind and made a statement to which he'll have to properly answer during the game.
''I mean, they were pretty cocky, I will say. So we won't forget that. They were celebrating like they won the gold medal''
Team Canada is 0-1 against the Czechs in this tourney, they will indeed come to this matchup with a certain level of confidence. Roy was selected in the 2021 draft by the Montreal Canadiens with the 150th pick and since he's been drafted he's really brought his game to the next level.
Along with the phenom Connor Bedard and the Dallas Stars prospect Logan Stankoven, they've represented team Canada's most dangerous line after 6 games. Can they keep their fire going and leave with the gold medal just like they did this summer?
