In one of the most anticipated rematches in recent memory, Team Canada had all the pressure in the world taking on USA in the 4 Nations Face-Off Finals after losing 3-1 in a hard fought defeat on Saturday.
This time, Team Canada got their revenge and won the championship in intense overtime.
Connor McDavid's golden goal in over time against the American was reminiscent of the legendary goal scored by future hall-of-famer Sidney Crosby 15 years earlier in the gold medal game of the 2010 Olympics.
Canada went on to strike first with a Connor McDavid goal, but the U.S. went on to score in every period for a thrilling 3-1 win.
