This press conference was set to take place on Monday, though with the team's recent they felt necessary to push up the agenda.
Per the Canucks' Official Statement Rick Tocchet will be taking over the reigns of the Vancouver Canucks as the head coach. Sergei Gonchar and Adam Foote are going to be is assistants.
The Canucks had issues with their coaches over the last couple of years, perhaps the source of the problems stands elsewhere.
