REMINISCING | Connor Bedard predicts the future? Dominating the rink with a Canucks jersey
Connor Bedard will likely be the first player to walk up to the stage on Wednesday, June 28th. The Chicago Blackhawks hold the rights to the 1st Overall Pick, and unless they cause a major surprise, they'll keep these rights.
Bedard, a North-Vancouver native, was dying for the opportunity to represent his hometown team, the Vancouver Canucks, at the game's highest level. The young man had already been given that opportunity a few years earlier when he participated in the Brick Invitational under the Canucks' colors. As you've probably guessed, Bedard was absolutely dominant, rocking the Flying Skate logo:
There is still time for the Canucks to acquire the 1st Overall Pick (Fingers crossed lol), or maybe we should hold our breaths and expect Bedard to pull a Tkachuk in a few years?
