Over the past couple days the rumors of Patrick Kane heading to the New York Rangers have been heating up, after many believed that window was shut after the Rangers acquired Vladimir Tarasenko.
New York Rangers Insider Larry Brooks has been adamant that if Kane wanted to come to the Rangers, that Rangers General Manager Chris Drury would try to make it happen.
Now another New York Rangers Insider, Stefan Rosner, has revealed "That a source has told him, that deal is being completed at this time."
"Per a trusted source, #NYR are hammering out the framework for a deal involving #Blackhawks Patrick Kane"
However, Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun would reveal that Kane hasn't made up his mind currently.
"From Patrick Kane's agent Pat Brisson:
«Patrick hasn't made any decision at this point.»
Which is what @reporterchris reported earlier on Insider Trading.
We'll see what the next few days bring.
- Pierre LeBrun
The same from Blackhawks Insider Charlie Roumeliotis saying:
"Nothing is imminent on a Kane trade."
Personally I think when there's smoke there's fire. I believe Kane will definitely be traded by March 3rd, but until it's 100% confirmed take this with a grain of salt.
