Swedish media have announced some life-changing news regarding Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson, with less than two months to go until the season begins.
Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson has turned the page after what was a very difficult 2024-25 season, which was filled with drama, inconsistent play and an injury which ended his year early.
Pettersson has been hard at work this summer, preparing for the upcoming season, telling reporters at Sweden's Olympic Orientation camp that he's "out for revenge" this season.
"I haven't thought about it, but for myself it's revenge. I'm not happy with last season. I'm trying to lead by example. But I know that I can become a better leader, in that aspect. I'm trying my best, but also trying to get better." Pettersson said.
Away from hockey, it's been a big summer for Elias Pettersson and his partner, Katelyn Byrd and recently, a Swedish media outlet reported some life-changing news regarding the Canucks forward.

Earlier this month, photos circulated on social media of both Elias Pettersson and his partner wearing rings, likely signalling that they got engaged.
It turns out that not only did the couple get engaged this summer, but they are now married, according to Svante Störlinge of Expressen, who shared that the two tied the knot in Sweden during Midsummer - a popular Swedish holiday and that the nation's Tax Agency officially registered their marriage back in July.

Pettersson isn't the only Vancouver Canuck to tie the knot this summer as he's joined by Filip Chytil who got married in Czechia in mid-June, while Kiefer Sherwood and his wife Ariel announced that they said "I Do" in a ceremony in California in late-July.
